Partnering With Tia Health To Provide Access To Virtual Care For Employees, Customers And Patients
Rexall Direct has partnered with Tia Health to launch a virtual care service for patients to help relieve the current burden on the acute healthcare system, specifically emergency rooms and hospitals. Patients will be able to talk to a doctor from the comfort of their homes by video chat or phone call and receive safe and effective medical care.
Virtual care is covered by the provincial health plan in Ontario (OHIP) and British Columbia (MSP), but not the other provinces. Patients with a valid Ontario or British Columbia health card will not be charged. Patients in other provinces will receive a receipt that may be reimbursed through a health spending account or other private insurance.
Rexall Direct is making this service available free of charge for its employees.

How do I pay for my medication?
At Rexall Direct we accept all major drug plans and major credit cards. (cash, cheque, and interac is not accepted at this time). Add your credit card to your Rexall Direct profile for easy payment. You will also be called and provided with the total amount of your order, prior to payment.
Will I be able to review the total for my order before I make a payment?
If your prescription order has an amount to be paid, you will be contacted by a Rexall Direct representative to be informed of the amount, prior to making any payment. At this point you have the option to change or cancel your request.
How long will it take to get my medication?
All prescription orders are delivered to anywhere within Canada within 3 – 5 business days. Please note that any delay with Canada Post or Purolator is outside the control of Rexall Direct.
Can I track my order?
Yes! All Rexall Direct locations provide email tracking and most provide text SMS tracking options. Ensure to include your phone number and email address when creating your profile.
What is the difference between Rexall and Rexall Direct?
Rexall Direct is the mail order division of Rexall. Our Rexall Direct locations allow for long distance delivery of medications across Canada.
What do I do if I need my medication today?
You can bring your prescription to your local pharmacy and pick up your medication in person. Some local Rexall pharmacies offer same day delivery. Call your local pharmacist to learn more.
Do I have to sign for my delivery to receive my medication?
To continue the practice of Social Distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily removed the requirement to sign for your delivery.
Do you deliver biological medications and medications that require refrigeration?
Yes. At Rexall Direct we have the ability to expense biological medications and the appropriate packaging and cold chain processes to delivery refrigeration medication. Please note that refrigerated medications are not shipped out on Thursdays or Fridays.
