    About PostScripts

  • PostScripts is a prescription home delivery service for your group benefit (drug) plan and is fulfilled by PostScripts. PostScripts provides an easy, safe and convenient way to get prescriptions. You can now have prescriptions delivered right to your door at no additional cost.

  • PostScripts has been specifically designed to offer the convenience of home delivery with the advantage of lower drug costs with no change in the prescription(s) that you are currently receiving.
    As a member of the Postscript program, ALL maintenance (chronic) medications which are medications that you required to take on a regular and on-going basis must be filled through PostScripts.
    Acute medications, which are medications that you are NOT required to take on an on-going basis, can still be purchased at any retail pharmacy.
    Note: Maintenance (chronic) medications are medications that you are required to take on a regular and on-going basis AND that you have been on for at least 90 days in the previous four months.

  • In addition to savings to your drug benefit plan, your PostScripts program gives you a 20% discount on all Rexall’s private brand products. This includes brands such as Rexall, Be.better, KIT, Rose & Robin, Savvy Home and Nosh & Co. at all participating Rexall locations. These products include over 1,800 everyday items from vitamins, over-the-counter pharmacy & personal care products, bath and beauty products, household cleaning supplies seasonal items and snacks.
    To access your discount, have the cashier scan the discount barcode located on your PostScripts drug benefit card.
    Note: Some exclusions apply and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

  • PostScripts provides a low dispensing fee for all your prescriptions. This means that you save money the first time and every time you use PostScripts!

  • Participation by your group health benefit plan is required for you to fully access the savings, including the discount card.

  • Registration is quick and easy. Click on the Get Started button available below and provide your personal information to set up your Online Account.

  • You can request a new prescription in two ways:

    Option 1: Have your doctor fax us your prescription. This is the quickest and most preferred method.

    Option 2: Complete and print an online form, attach your original prescription and mail it to the address indicated on the top of the form.

  • You can request a prescription refill by selecting the Prescription Refill section within your Online Account or call us at 1-888-Rx-2-DOOR (1-888-792-3667).

  • You can use our online Prescription Transfer Request from your Online PostScripts Account or call us at 1-888-Rx-2-DOOR (1-888-792-3667) and let us take care of the rest.

  • You can add and manage your dependents up to the age of 18. Due to patient confidentiality, all adults over the age of 18 must create their own PostScripts account.

    Filling Your Prescriptions

  • Maintenance medications are those drugs that a doctor has prescribed for regular and ongoing use, and include, but are not limited to, drugs for diabetes, cholesterol, asthma, high blood pressure, hormone therapy and birth control. Drugs needed for an emergency, such as an antibiotic or a painkiller, are called acute medications.

  • Yes, PostScripts can fill your acute medications. Speak with your Rexall Pharmacist to discuss the best option for you.

  • No, your prescription must be faxed by your doctor's office to 1-800-563-8934 or telephoned by your doctor's office to 1-800-561-DRMD (1-800-561-3763). To comply with legislation, your doctor’s office must retain the original prescription on file.

  • Yes, transferring your prescriptions to PostScripts is fast and easy. You can use our online Prescription Transfer Request from your Online PostScripts Account or call us at 1-888-Rx-2-DOOR (1-888-792-3667) and let us take care of the rest.

  • Yes, we can fill narcotic medications. For specific details regarding narcotic deliveries in your province of residence, please contact PostScripts at 1-888-Rx-2-DOOR (1-888-792-3667).

  • Our Pharmacists are always available to speak with you whether it’s regarding your prescription needs or to help answer your health-related questions. You can connect with us anytime during our hours of operation by calling 1-888-Rx-2-DOOR (1-888-792-3667) or visiting the Contact Us page.

  • A Rexall Pharmacist will provide counselling on all new prescriptions. In BC, a Rexall Pharmacist will also provide counselling on refill prescriptions.

  • PostScripts offers comprehensive medication reviews, follow ups, compliance packaging, answer medication related questions and provide support on disease management and overall wellbeing.

    Getting Your Prescriptions

  • Yes, your privacy is important to us. Your medication is delivered in discrete packaging with only your mailing information identified. To maintain confidentiality, there is no reference made to your prescription or the details related to its contents on the outside packaging.

  • Delivery is FREE within Canada.

  • PostScripts offers flexible shipment to your home or office. For more information about delivery, contact your PostScripts Pharmacist.

  • Any request received before 12:00pm local time can be delivered to anywhere in Canada by the next business day. Some exclusions may apply.

    Exclusions to next day delivery: Requests for cold chain or specialty medications, missing or outdated payment or account details, and third party courier disruptions or remote area limitations may cause delays to your delivery

  • Contact your PostScripts Pharmacy to discuss delivery options and how to get your medication when you need it.

  • Yes, you can track your medication delivery by email or text once you receive your shipping confirmation. Ensure to keep your phone number and email address updated in your profile.

  • Yes, special care is taken to ensure appropriate packaging and preserving the cold chain shipping, including biological medications. We follow strict policies and procedures for handling and shipping of these medications.

  • In order to safeguard your medication(s) and to comply with provincial regulations, a signature is required upon receipt of your unmarked, tamper-resistant package (please note that children under the age of 18 cannot accept delivery of a package). If no one is available to accept the package, a delivery notice card will be left to advise you that the item is available for pickup at your designated postal outlet. The item will be held at the post office for 5 to 15 calendar days after which time it will be returned to us.

  • No, once medication has been dispensed and shipped, it will not be able to be returned. If you have any questions about your medications, please call 1-888-RX-2-DOOR

    Paying For Your Prescriptions

  • Your Online PostScripts Account will include a section to securely add and manage your payment information. Add your credit card to your PostScripts profile for easy payment.

  • We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also accept Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Please note that all payment processing is secured and will not be stored as per Payment Card Industry standards. Cash, cheque, and Interac are not accepted.

  • PostScripts will accept Visa or MasterCard debit or a pre-paid credit card. Pre-paid credit cards can be obtained at any major Retailers including Rexall.

  • The payment information you provide will be validated and securely stored for payment processing in a secure database located within a highly restricted network segment behind multiple firewalls. Both PostScripts and Bambora are fully compliant with all requirements of the PCI Data Security Standard.

  • A Rexall Pharmacist will contact you to discuss any copay amounts before charging your credit card.
